The marks property specifies whether to display crop marks, cross marks or both on a page. Crop marks indicate where the page should be cut. Cross marks (also known as register marks or registration marks) are used to align sheets. Marks are visible only pages with an absolute size. If the size of a page is relative, the page aligns with the target and the marks will be outside the printable area. The size, style, and position of cross marks depend on the browser. |
