Any text you want to put on your page goes in the body section of the page between the <body> and the </body> tags. The most obvious things that you'll want to add are headings and paragraphs. You can add headings to your page in the same way that you have headings in printed documents. There are different levels of headings that vary in size. You can create the basic paragraphs that contain your text. If you want to split up sections of text, you can use the <hr> tag to draw a horizontal rule across the page. There are also a number of tags that apply different types of formatting to paragraphs. For example, to format an address, a quotation, computer output and so on. You can also format the text in your paragraphs, for example to make text bold or italics and you can change the font of the text. |
