Using true doc fonts

To convert to TrueDoc fonts, you need to use a tool such Webfont Maker or HexWeb Typograph. They both cost money.

The tools record the shape of the font and save the shape to a portable font resource (prf) file. You then link to this file from your pages. The browser must be able to read and understand this file: Netscape does it (well it is partly their font type) but Internet Explorer doesn’t.

If you load a page in Internet Explore that uses TrueDoc fonts, you’ll see a little box asking if you want to download the Bitstream WebFont Player. If you download the software, you can display the fonts.
