Browsers pack rows and columns in tables tightly together. Sometimes there may only be a pixel or two between cells. You can use the cellspacing and cellpadding attributes to add extra space to cells in tables. Enter the spacing in pixels. Cellspacing is the space between cells and between cells and the outside edge of the table. If you increase the cellspacing, the cells get further apart. Cellpadding is the space between the text or picture in a cell and the edge of the cell. If you increase cellpadding, the cells get bigger but the space between cells stays the same.
